Functional and decorative pottery by Anne Honey Davies

Functional and decorative pottery by Anne Honey Davies

Using stoneware clay and a variety of mid-temperature glazes, I specialise in functional pots,

but also enjoy creating ornaments and sculptures.

All of my work is oven and dishwasher proof, and microwave safe.

All glazes are lead-free and food safe unless specified.

Inspiration, creativity, and curiosity have resulted in many beautiful pieces of functional art.

Please browse the Gallery for available pieces and contact me for commissions.

Background

I grew up in Leicestershire, and my love of pottery began at Primary School. My passion for forming clay into objects – functional and decorative – continued through school and University.

I have studied under Gerry Unsworth in Leicester and Valerie Rees at the Trident Pottery (Caledonian Road) in Islington and have undertaken numerous private commissions as well as providing work for retail outlets.

All of my work is oven and dishwasher proof, and microwave safe.

All glazes are lead-free and food safe unless specified.
